Bird Songs Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

Bird Songs

In the silence of dawn, the day starts
In the silence of dawn, birds break the silence
Newest and heartiest welcome gestures to the day
The little child is happy in his cradle, listening birdsong
Only it can understand the meaning, that I think
So to speak I noticed the child, it smiles a lot
The cradle was not in motion, but steady and still
The mother sat near looking the baby with pride
When she noticed the child was smiling a lot
The meaningful thoughts mother was happy
She knows children likes the sparrows and their songs
Their joyous movements in the bushes, and garden
Remembering her good days of childhood, and plays
She was fond of earth, and playful field nearby
Her mother was angry for playing in mud, concerned
Then nearby groups of birds were tracing food grains
Or insects so pretty eat ups they wished and liked
The child looked with lot of happiness the birds
Now her little child likes to hear the morning song
From the cradle and looks outside the window
It sees the flowering bushes and sitting small birds
Singing aloud, and quarreling between, then flying
The world is beautiful, the birds are also beautiest.
