Birds' Dilemma Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Birds' Dilemma

The master took
A day off one day
The bird feeder
Hung empty.

Few birds stood
On the rim for a while
Waited and waited
To no avail.

Myself watching
No feed in hand
Felt helpless
Indeed.

All birds flew away
The feeder swung
Back and forth
Relentlessly.

On days feeder's not filled
Hope they'll find
Their food
Elsewhere.
