Even the moon needs a new
pair of shoes
once the road full of panic and dreams
branches off
into cuts and chaos
pockets and boxes
birds on a banjo
casinos and temples,
God full of death and life
full of God.
Even the moon needs her time to rest
beneath a seed of faith
untouched
in the womb of a new day.
