The Language Of Blue Poem by Nick Csizmadia

The Language Of Blue

for Jessie

In the living room of a dead man's hole
I long for tall laughter & flowers that dance
but there are pictures of you
and traces of blue in your eyes
you remind me
of a better time & distant place
where I once existed
your beauty is so insane, my eyes go crazy.

From the razor red to the bluesy beat
I find a speck of childhood
in the dirt beneath your feet
another Sunday afternoon in bed
you spent another night inside my head.

Your voice is a Rolls Royce road trip trippin'
dark & drunk, so damn divine
I'm down bad
so down down deep in my beta boy mind.

Wrap your hands around my heart a little tighter
I have a little green to ease the cold
in these beautiful blood lit passages
work my heart & soul like claymation
tickle & tease it with your signature touch
let it beat to the language
and rhythm of you.
