Birth The Birth Of A Single Thought Poem by Terence George Craddock

Birth The Birth Of A Single Thought

Rating: 5.0

Awake behold the sun let there be light
and there was light spoken into existence...
with a word but there is no light in a coal

mine miners going to work in darkness finishing
work in darkness working all day in darkness...
going home in darkness but a greater light

waits to awake within the light of a bright
awakening if you could save a life for a second...
would you save that life for a mere second

if you could save a life for a hundred years
would a hundred years of life be more worthy...
of saving? life saved for a second or a hundred

years which is equal or more important in time
a second to alter the destiny of civilizations an entire world...
trapped in an ephemeral moment a mere microscopic second

in eternity because in eternity a trillion trillion years
is less than a moment in time because eternity timeless dwells...
outside of time outside of creation in awesome imagination

of a God without beginning end dreaming speaking
all creation into being in the birth of a single thought...
to go to work to come home in sky darkness is not

dwelling in darkness because there is light within a flame
a spark a potential for awakening an illuminating eternal radiant...
light the light of creativity creation echoes in purity within

all life the entire cosmos is seeded in birth born in a single thought
