Birthdays Past Poem by Suzae Chevalier

Birthdays Past

Birthdays was a cherished time
for my childlike mind.
I was excited about toys I was sincere-
I loved to get a surprise-
I would have sparkle in my eyes.
Getting up early in the morning-
I could not wait for my birthday gifts to arrive
I was happiest on my birthday when I was five.
These are memories of birthdays past-
they are the best that will last.
