Bitter Rancor Poem by Gerry Legister

Bitter Rancor

Bitter rancor hide the silhouetted against the moon
Silence came and stood constraint in the room
Without the music, a mirage of dream murals the mind
Sanity drifted in vacuum unaccustomed decline
Self-conscious faith surprise the infamous
Faltered romance surrendered a marching chorus
To share the seasons graduated intensity
Uninvited relationship made the heart more humanity
Exhausted and bitterly lonesome
Indecisiveness tucked beneath your frown
From your seemingly quiet platform
Ignorance survive emotions measured revenge
Shuffling dangerous cross temper startled image
Into silent corners of holy conservatism
Your heart plots another winter's transvestism
pretense reaction for throwing up mute courtesy
The perfect answer to defeat betrayal agony
Despise love coincide with the darker danger
Only time will heal the bitter rancor of control nature
