Bittersweet - Poem by A.J. McKinley

And I fell
Laughing, crying
Another song

And then silence
Truth, justice
Going home

And we kissed
Touching, taking
Seeking desire

And I knew
Heartache, anger
Shameful release

And I left
Alone, eager
Selfless acts

Excellent choice of title which repeats itself in each stanza. Very well executed. (Report) Reply
