Black And White Poem by nishant agrawal

Black And White

Rating: 4.5

absent red perplexed me, still scratching my head,
and green lustrous, nothing but fading life and melting heavens,
but blue so obvious, again rugged reflections and smoking skies;
is this the phoenix veneering the rainbows in its ashes;
or the envy moon, delineating silhouettes and spreading in us;
the trivia gashing and eluding my juices leaving me void,
portraying me like a mariner sailing on his own blood,
one day he would be drowning in it, inside all dried up,
me dying with him, slowly dissipating in the shadows of dusk;
dreams, cruel dreams scoffing me showing the pieces of the past,
sprawling in the umbra of romance, under the hard sun of decisions;
blotting the chroma of our love, i touched the ugliest face of canvas,
and all my colour losing in tears, left to ramble in black and white
