Black Friday Poem by bill costley

Black Friday

BLACK FRIDAY

“The New Normal”

Twitters tweet about fights
across the country, showing

blurry crowds' backs to camera,
somber crowds facing cameras,

few smiling at what they got
from midnite ordealing.

A few token deals were deep,
some video-game boxes empty,
but some say it's worth it.

Next Year: a virtual, violent
[{Black Friday}] from X-Box
