Black Holes In The Space Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Black Holes In The Space

Black hole, a cosmic body, with gravity
So intense that nothing, even light escapes.
During the big bang there were tiny black holes
Which lost their mas over time and disappeared.

Gravity is Universal Gravitation
Where two objects have a field of attraction,
Which is proportional to the mass of each,
The heavier the mass, the bigger the force.

A speed is needed to break from the gravity force.
A star being too heavy or too small
And the gravity becoming too strong
Its escape velocity exceeds the light speed.

When a big star collapses in the space,
The star contracts by its own attraction force,
It initially becoming a white dwarf star
And then a black dwarf star with no light sent.

A star continues contacting itself
Till it becomes finally a big gravity planet,
Where the escape velocity is faster
Than the speed of light to be a black hole.

At the centre of the black hole occupies
A heavy planet called Singularity.
The exterior of the black hole cut off the rest
That anything enters will not emerge out.

Around the black hole space-time distorts.
If a rocket comes close to the black hole,
It is trapped, and elongates like a needle
To fall to the Singularity as atoms.
