Thunderstruck it was when I heard
The news of my friend's mother's death.
'That she is no more', said a ground guard
That guards their door with full fathom faith.
There was flood of eyedrops made air grief;
Oh no! there was no water but a heart's pang
When I knew how she died in brief
And made me argument against death, not sang.
Oh Death! you are indeed very cruel
Throwing all livings to thy dusty soil.
Yes, you are stronger taking us as gruel
None can escape from thy deathish coil.
But oh Death! I myself tremble to summoned hear
My black ink never has no such fear.
