Blacklisted Poem by Oscar Munir

Blacklisted

BLACKLISTED
It was a clear sky, nothing like a cloud
Everything visible, and the noise was loud
There was a bit of fresh air
The environment was fair
It was a new day
It's all I could say
But my heart
Oh my poor heart
It carried a big burden
Like a harvest from the garden
My eyes seemed dry
But while alone they would cry
I couldn't talk to the one I love
So I prayed to the one above
My number was blacklisted
It couldn't go through even though I insisted
The pain inside of me was too strong
I wondered what had gone wrong
It was a bad and weird feeling
Very unbearable and unhealing
I felt so lonely
I wish she knew she was my one and only.
