Blade Poem by Bekah Tav.

Blade

I have a problem.
I have an issue.
I have something to say,
And you may need a tissue.
See these scars?
They were hand-made.
I’ve found a friend,
Their name is Blade.
It comes to me,
When I need someone.
It comforts me,
Makes me feel strong.
It will always be there,
Won’t ever leave me,
And knowing its there,
Has somehow saved me.
It doesn’t make me angry,
Has never made me cry.
It lets me express,
The pain I feel inside.
When I feel trapped,
It lets me escape.
Gives me a chance,
To take a glance at
Life in a different way.
You see, with people,
You can be let down,
They make you sad,
They make you frown.
But me and Blade,
We’ve made it through,
Because of Blade,
I’m here to tell you,
That even though,
It’s a great friend.
Proves it will be there,
Till the end.
I now need a person,
To pull me through.
The scars Blade makes,
Are too much,
Too huge.
Even though each,
Has their own story.
I’d rather them keep,
Their own sick glory,
Tucked away,
Deep inside.
Those reasons I have,
I’d rather hide.
But I need help,
You see,
We made a pact.
That we would
Always have each others back.
So I need it,
To be taken away.
Because Blade almost
Took my life
Today.

Please stay strong. I understand, times (life in general) is hard. We've all wanted out of it at some points. Now, I'm not one of those 'optimistic', hedonistic wanna-be's, but I am sure you truly have loads to live for. Though I don't know you, after reading this, I care about what you live through. Realize that you are an amazing writer. Please do get rid of Blade, for your sake and many others'.
