Blank Pictures Poem by Derek Fitzpatrick

Blank Pictures

Opaque oasis,
A small pond
& Oak Tree.

So close,
To conscience,
& Heavy at heart
Invision silent art.

Carve a memory,
Leave it be,
It gets just as dirty
Entangled in open sky,

Shed a tear,
Feed the pond.
Smile inside fear
Autumn looks on.

Winter beyond,
Tears become frozen
Crackling a clear mirror
Discover your cure.

Diluted or potent,
Pictures,
Speak many tongue's
They can't freeze a moment.

Another good abstract write. Like the seasons flowing into one another. Good stuff. We have similar styles.
