Blanket Of Purity Poem by David Harris

Blanket Of Purity

Outside the ground is white
after a heavy snow fall.
The dark scars are invisible
hidden under a blanket of purity.

The landscape is transformed again
to a winter wonderland
and the darkness of tormented days
lay transformed to beauty once more.

Freshness fills the air
and new light begins to shine.
The snow has fallen once again
and brightened up our dark days.

The wind my blow cold,
icicles dangle from roof ends,
but a ray of sunshine appears
to brighten up our lives again.
