Blessed Poem by Alyssa Dinkins

Blessed

As I sit here and gaze at the stars,
I realize how BLESSED I am to be alive.
Sure, there are moments of despair.
When I wonder why I EXIST or what my PURPOSE is,
How I could make a difference.
I look in the mirror and see Gods creation,
Beautiful and majestic,
But my reflection is deceiving.
I see my life flash before my eyes and in the blink of an eye my fears
ARE LIFTED.
and my chains are
SET FREE.
I am reminded that God is always present and that in him I am loved.
