Blessings Poem by SEGUN RASAKI

Blessings

Blessings, Blessings, Blessings.
Count your blessings, I say count your blessings
Every one is blessed, and favored
Each is given according to a divine plan, different flavors for different folks
Various blessings for various reasons and various season's
Some blessings for reasons of blessing others, some for blessing self
Some blessings for the sunrise of life, some for noon of life and some for the twilight of life
Life is a blessing by itself, gift of life, be grateful for it, never take it for granted
What an awesome grace to be counted in the land of the living
Love life, live life, thank God daily for this gift of life
When night comes and the eyes close in sleep, every one surrenders to the unknown
When day breaks and the eyes open, what a miracle for a safe return from the land of unknown
Count this as a special blessing, be grateful as this is the greatest and best blessing of all blessings
When you murmur, when you grumble, when you complain, take a moment to count the blessing of
that voice
Some want to speak but do not have the blessing of vocal cords, but they still count their other blessings
Love to count your blessings, never envy others for their blessings just look and take stock of yours and
say thank you to Him that blesses all without conditions
When joy comes, count your blessings, when trouble, tribulations and travails come, count your
blessings
Grateful heart gets more blessings, thankful soul gets peace with the blessings, appreciative spirit gets
joy with the blessings
Contentment and commitment to thanksgiving delights the one that blesses divinely
Wake up to say, I am grateful to be blessed with another day, because it is His grace that makes it
possible.
