Blind Poem by Jane Sparkes

Blind

Rating: 3.5

I didn't see the love go away
Didn't know it could feel that way
Now it seems I am lost anyway
In front of my eyes you have gone astray
And I am blind like before you.

Seeing it for all that I wanted
I had lost the game before it had started
I didn't get to take you for granted
Again I was as blind like before you.

Before life was as clear as day
Easy as work rest and play
Just needed you to see it that was
But you still didn't want to stay
Wish I was blind like before you

After the words that I dreaded to hear
A connection you just couldn't bare
Seeing you gone is suprisingly clear
I'm still as blind as I was before you
