Blood Covers The Truth - Poem by Charisma Hishaw

As I lay here
Bloody and Broken
I think about how I got this way
The blood is not my own
I've hurt
I've killed
I've even felt the hurt the so many of
my victims no longer feel
I am a plague
And with my knife
I will forever kill
Not leaving even a speck of clean skin
on those who chose to hate me
I want to see red
As for my enemies
I want them to see black
To never witness their chests rise
and fall as they breathe again
And thusly time goes on

I am a lot into horror poetry, and this one is one of the best I have read in such a long time, it has such a great analogy with the plague, and the way you express it, it's even more perfect!
A 10 from me for this amazing poem!
