Blood Trail Poem by Luz Hanaii

Blood Trail

Rating: 5.0

A trail of blood left in the street
silently screaming for all to hear
yet no one stopped or seemed to care
as if their haste had made them deaf
not only deaf, but blind as well
silently screaming but no one heard

Was it a woman's, child's or man's?
it tried to tell us, but we were deaf

Today this morning, blood is still there
Glad I'm not blind, yet still can't hear
Perhaps tomorrow blood will reveal

hearing the cry of blood........ such a great imagination......... we are all deaf here on earth to hear such a heartbreaking cry of blood on the street.. let it be of a child or a man or a woman.......... we have to learn to listen to such cries and and help out in such terrible circumstances.......... you are raising the consciousness of the deaf in this world.. thank u for this great poem..dear Luz. tony

Tony, thank you for great comment. Yes, it's disturbing to see blood in the street, makes me wonder.
