Bloody Mary Red. Poem by Kaylee Questionable

Bloody Mary Red.

The morning sky is
stained Bloody Mary Red

Alice killed herself
last night
They said she
slit her damned wrist
vertical-the right way
horizontal- the wrong way
She watched
the blood
slide down
her arm
and around her hand
They say she laughed
with rejoice
She screamed
a happy shrill
and exclaimed
'Im free
Oh god I'm free'

They say she had
big plans
big ideas
big dreams

She use to say
'Babe I'm gettin
outta here
you won't see me
for years and years
Heck, maybe never again
cuz I'm sick of this small town'

She'd take one last drag
of her ciggerate
(it was her only joy
a sweet sigh of relief)
and smile
a devilish smile

They said she had talent
A talent
she could never see
In her mind
She wasn't good enough
and never would be
Oh! but she dreamnt
of fame
and she
dreamnt
of the glory

Untill Alice
couldn't take it no more
She realized
she couldn't do it
She said
'Its worthless
Im not goin nowhere'
her mind told her
'your nothing
but a lazy burn-out
with no motivvation
Just 300 mg
of wellbutrin
and some
borrowed weed'

So she cried
one last sob
got her cold
razor blade
and cut those
Final cuts.

The morning skey
is stainded
Bloody Mary Red
and Alice Klein is Dead

Very graphic, descriptive, explanatory, and insightful telling the whole story. Your choice of words, images, and the way you express the scene and feeling is very will done.
