Blooming Love Poem by Raven Cullen

Blooming Love

Rating: 5.0

Sitting underneath a cove in the nightfall, in total privacy, feeling the warm, comfortable, aura of love right next to my arm; she and I both look up at the nightglow, and the moon, and the stars. I feel it enhances my emotions though I am not definite in what the emotion is exactly. I glance upward and notice a sakura petal descend from the nearby cherry tree of the cove and float past her face of light complexion and beauty.
She looks at me and we both smile as a reaction, and quickly turn away, slightly blushing. Just being in her presence softly envelops me with a deep, stimulating, passion.
Every moment spent with her puts me in more of a reverie, and, at the same time a fantasy. Just sensing emotion and seeing light, imagining I can now see everything clearly just because she is in my life. All because of her: an individual with the ability to make me go crazy with merely a glance or a touch.
I notice her hair is drifting in the light breeze from the ocean; she rubs her arm feeling cold. I slowly shift closer to her hoping to warm her and shelter her from the cold breeze of the night. Wanting my mentality and heart to go ecstatic by your presence and indiscernible, intangible connection that we have between us, something I’ll never comprehend. I slowly look up to her moving her hair from my vision to reveal her remarkable face, I smile with hope and the feeling that she will be with me forever and nothing can interrupt us.
“Nothing in the world will change the way I feel about you. We are inseparable; one powerful bond of union. When you are sad, I am sad. When you cry, I cry. When you are in darkness, I am in darkness. And when you bleed, I bleed also. And so let it be that we are, and always will be. Completely surrender your heart to me and I will do the same for you… I love you so much…” I whisper.
And as the moon moves across the expanse of the black sky she looks at me with eyes of wonder and interest. She leans in towards my chest and I softly embrace her in my arms. I caress her neck with my lips an hopes she feels my love. She looks up and I smoothly move in towards her lips and press them softly against hers. Awe fills the night between us, breathing unevenly as I pull back and open my eyes. “I hope this night with you never ends. It has to be a dream” she whispers.
I realize I have just felt the true darkness and light of love…
