Blue Poem by Micron Jan

Blue

Rating: 5.0

Blue—what does it mean to me, to you?
It holds many meanings, deep and true.

In religion, blue wears sacred wings,
Some Hindu gods shine in blue skin.
Shiva, the Destroyer, calm and bright,
Neela Kantha, swallowed poison to fight.

Vishnu's avatars—Krishna, Ram—are blue,
Connected to water, life flowing through.
A spiritual soul with a blue aura glows,
Throat chakra speaks what the heart knows.

In music, the "blues" sing of pain,
A tuneful path through loss and gain.
Notes of longing, notes of might,
Turning the darkest feelings to light.

Blue has many meanings, some sad, some sweet,
Not just the color when life feels bleak.
It's depth, it's calm, it's vast and true,
A color of life, in every hue.
