Blue Eyes Worn To Grey Poem by Sandy Rondo

Blue Eyes Worn To Grey

Scars beneath my skin
The soft mummers hanging on the wind
The pain I feel only thickening
Sorry stamped on my soul
Pain wrenched into my eyes
The ocean is gone no surprise
Dull Grey shows I’m alone
Where do you think the colors gone?
Was it siphoned out with my pride?
Or was it ridiculed like my life

Do you still flinch when her fingers brush your lips
Her face is the record of my life
Repeating and screeching
Just open your eyes
Poisonous lies
Tell me if it hurts to cry
She is only a drug
Addictive but horribly wrong
