Blue Hyacinth Poem by Lady Blue

The blue hyacinth candle burns
sweet scents float around the
room and my heart so does yearn
to hold you close to me.

To hear your heart beating in a
contented rhythm as you lay your
head against my chest and I
feel your body begin to rest.

Knowing when I awake you will
be here still beside me, touching
my thigh with yours, having made
love so sweet and lovingly sure.

The day will come when one will
grieve for the loss of our love
achieved, but knowing in the very
end our love will be once again.
