Blunder Poem by fraidoon warasta

Blunder

yet, we didn't know that
the orange of this blue canopy
has a green heart
and the moon could rhyme a ghazal
on fish and coral reef

a sparrow at the same moment doesn't try
to rob someone else's voice
the raging thunder doesn't try to be heard
clouds
without flaunting
adrift
the emerald of cypress
exhibits without any advert

with all his rhetoric
only and only man wants to
impress the sky and its citizens
shall this contrived eloquence
of him ever reach its ripeness
and surpass?
but, man is the only octopus
who tries to tentacle, hold, keep and handle
many many godly things
at the same age

only to-day and to-day is the time
but
yesterday still floats
tomorrow?
