A Silent Fall Poem by fraidoon warasta

A Silent Fall

from where? no one knows
when the galloping wind blows
through oblivious trees, and flows

when nature abruptly calls
an old tree yields and falls
silently hitting the ground
shattering without sound

no one sees the raising dust
not disturbing the sleeping bees
having no complaining mouth
silent birds and lofty trees

in this lapis lazuli night
to say please be quiet
through oblivious trees, it blows
this galloping wind and flows
flows, where? no one knows
