'Bondage and thirst'
Bound to the natural tendency
Desiring to have freedom
I struggle as if walking down two
Roads simultaneously
In different directions
Spinning wildly from one to the other
Having lust in one, remorse the other
As I steady to keep my gaze on Him
Faltering brings me closer
And being forgiven eases my heart
Even though perfection will
Never be pure in my path
I strive to acknowledge, have faith
And hope for His grace
That I'm told is sufficient
Believing that, to carry on becomes
Easier yet more challenging
Still Bound and yet quenched
