Born Without Identity Poem by Rick Elpers

Born Without Identity

To be thrust into life without
 desire, born tragically
against ones true interest
Only through self content
Do those who perpetrate such
Heartless endeuver to reach
Satisfaction for themselves
Never assume how being
In this world is a sentence
Not unlike a prison
The gamble of health
Of happiness deemed
Acceptable to those who
will not live in that skin
 Tortured in a merciless society
Fearing death, always
 hoping for a better life
and it never comes
Struggle against the notion
 of self Destruction  always
Bending to the wind
Hoping that today will finally
Be the one
