Borders And Experiences Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Borders And Experiences

Rating: 2.5

Borders and experiences

I crossed a border and things changed in detail
Taliban were basic and in love with beard
That, Tajiks hated and suspected
In that time I had it very long.

Things happen for reason
It paved road for learning
Those contacts shed much light
And I gained in hard way.

KGB beat them and threw them like trash
And I was on hunger strike…

Young and old
Some brains of schools
And many of bazaar
The so called Ummi and well-read ones
Shared only unique core
All seeking freedom and respect;
With that they made sharing cylinder,
(Tall and round)
They were caught and tortured brutal…

So we talked
So I learned.

They had no idea of Guide line…
They were all brain washed…
One reason or two were in common
Poverty that killed poor
Dictator who barred wise of the rights.

They gathered around a dead candle
Called "Party"; from far imported
"Freedom's"; Hezb-al-Tahrir.
