The day, dead, silent and cold
Over the green, small park
Stood a lamp, unlike the others
Flickering mercily over my head
'Save my soul and i will repay
With bright light and help your way'
'I have no mercy, you hopeless
I'm just like you, lifeless
I came here looking for a sign
Why don't you just shine on bright
Maybe when i see your courage and strength
I could take it and help it with mine'
Angered as i blamed the lamp
It died and never spoke to me again
The day, dead, silent and cold
Over the green, small park
Stood a lamp, unlike the others
Shining most brightly over my head
' 'O', merciless, hopeless man
I stood before you to give you your sign
Kill yourself and become another man'
