Born On The Wrong Side Of The Track Poem by Paul Warren

Born on the wrong side of the tracks
Seems to be only looking back
To where the origin was for the person
When their situation would not be worsening

Perhaps this story is not for broadcast
But the more interesting stories will last
Some who were born there would not take it lying down
And become more than the soil of that ground

You see it is what you are and you make
In your life that is what you cannot fake.
