Born On The Wrong Side Poem by Paul Warren

Born On The Wrong Side

Born on the wrong side
Society's judgment as a guide
Belief in himself was his ride
Slowly he worked out his pride

You see there is no level field
Just who is the first to yield
And in the end he did well
Taking it all to become a town swell.

A lovely write about survival. I too was born on the wrong side. Amazingly the view is better as I have seen so much more and gained great wisdom. Also too the appreciation I have for living is incredible. Thank You
