Born To Say Goodbye Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Born To Say Goodbye

I was his special Lady
he named me 'loving baby'
we lived our days in mutual ecstasy;
when his shining light glistened in the night
it brought a little piece of heaven
to my world.

Liken to a brother
he loved me as no other...
we lived our lives in perfect harmony;
he adored me so, romance he put on show
and I saw a glimpse of heaven
in my world.

But with time we said goodbye
every star fell from the sky,
our parting brought an avalanche of snow
reversing that wonderful inner glow
to a morbid dark depression
on my world.
