Boss Is Always Right Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Boss Is Always Right

I don't know who said Boss is always right
May be, but how could I accept it without a proof?
I taxed my brain day and night
Under the roof
And decided to meet my boss to experience
Instead of sitting on the fence
To prove the authenticity of the statement
I must just not put up any complaint
Before I assure myself
As it goes on to say self-help is the best help.

I went up to boss and said ‘'Boss two and two makes four
Do you agree?
My boss said 'just touch the very core
And realize two and two can also mean five, six, seven, eight, and nine
Or any other number you may feel free
To remember and feel fine, '

I took the words as solemn and calculated two and two is not always four
My Boss came straight and said
With eyes red;
'How could you make such a silly mistake?
At least work for your own sake?
Two and two is always four
And no other number make sure,
I turned white
And quipped 'Yes Boss you are always right'
