Bounteous Spring! Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Bounteous Spring!

The winds rustled the night and the morning
The clouds hovered the sky to hid the sun
The warm wind however blows to indicate the arrival of spring
The rains drizzle down
After a long time I know not when I smile
In this busy profile
Down the memory lane I visualize a girl in pink
Dancing out in the open and enjoy the drizzling rain
Life is to float I believe and not sink
I remove all the clutters from my mind
And start playing with the wind
It rustles, it blows
My face glows
To be a spectator of the new green leaves sprouting on the trees
I salute the bounteous spring
Music in my ears ring
It’s the time for celebration
For the green vegetation
Awaiting for us
I am touched.
