Both Feet In Poem by Leslie Alexis

Both Feet In

In the Church there are many Church-goers
Who happen to also be hell-goers,
Because they know not the meaning of faith.
It is trusting in God for every plate.
It is well-known that the church lacks.
Paul said it then and now it is a fact.
Most are Christian on the Saturday and Sunday,
Not even then, for once outside it's fun-day.
I have been that way too, I cannot lie,
But I assure you, it is not the way I'll die;
For many others I cannot say this is true,
But don't watch others, it’s between God and you.
Young lady the only example is Jesus Christ.
He is the one that died and paid the price.
Do not follow others and let them cause you to sin,
Do the things Christ says, and Heaven you'd win!
