Darkness in my soul
I plead you go away
And be with me no more
Yet here you are to stay.
Haunting you have been
To cause me endless pain
Broken I've become
I've nothing left to gain.

Darkness that I feel
You're breaking me apart
Chipping me away
Tearing out my heart.
You've overpowered me
You've tainted everything
I'm crippled and alone
From the nothingness you bring.

Darkness hear my cry
I plead you spare my soul
I'm the only thing I have
I beg you leave me whole.
Time and time again
The light begins to show
Yet slowly fades away
It's darkness that I know.
