Boy Next Door - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Boy Next Door - Lincoln Park Zoo

We two young sisters want to meet
The handsome boy that lives next door.
But so far he's been hard to greet.
Once in a while we'll hear him roar.
When we moved in, we heard he had
No friends to keep him company.
Of course this made us very sad,
And so his friends we try to be,
Sending to him girlish appeal.
There's just so much that we can do.
It's up to him to do the deal,
Here home at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

This lion boy just need decide
To join us lionesses' pride.
