Brain Vs. Mind Poem by Tina Baaklini

Brain Vs. Mind

Have you ever wrote a poem
Or created music for an anthem
Only to find that someone
From Singapore or Taiwan
Had exactly the same idea
To the point that it may seem a replica
Instead of an eureka!

It's as if a naughty muse
Chose out of the blues
To whisper to both of you
The same thoughts.

Oftentimes, our brains are a 24/7 machines
Thinking of everything, seen and unseen
As popcorn, they pop up thoughts
Whether we're conscious of that or not.

And yet our thoughts stem not from the brain
The brain is a physical organ destined for worms
The mind is a subtle body from where thoughts are born.

The mind is like a television station that transmits
Its programs as vibes through the air,
The brain is like our television at home
That translates these vibes into picture and sound.

We're not mere flesh and blood
Our heart is the temple of God
We have six subtle bodies
Out of which the mental body
The creator of all our thoughts.

According to esoteric sciences
Our solar system has 7 levels
Of consciousness, with each subtle body
Like the aura, the astral body,
The mental body and others
Belonging to their own level of consciousness

We all think
But our thoughts differ
According to our level of consciousness.

Picture the mental plane in the universe
As a building of 7 floors
Each floor representing a level of consciousness
The person standing on the 7th floor
Will have a different view than
The one on the first floor

But two persons standing on the same floor
Looking at the same direction
Are likely to sea the same view.

As both have the same consciousness
Their thoughts, creation or inspiration
May be alike, beyond imagination.
