Breathe Poem by James Grengs

Breathe

Rating: 4.0

Breathe-
Come out of the flood,
Feel the waters rinsing you,
Washing away
The blood.

Breathe-
Feel the life filling your lungs,
As you come back to reality
From the vaccuum of nowhere.

Breathe-
Endure the light,
Remember the darkness,
The depths from which you have come.

Breathe-
The earth calls you from the sea.
Breathe,
You are born.

This is an intense emotionally and spiritually charged piece. For some reason as I was reading it I was thinking of J.O.C. and their song ' flood' Probably because the lyrics go something like: ' but if I can't swin after 40 days and my mind is crushed by the crashing waves, lift me up, so high that I cannot fall lift me up' Anyway, thanks for the trip. Always, Amberlee
