Poem by James Grengs

Come out of the flood,
Feel the waters rinsing you,
Washing away
The blood.

Feel the life filling your lungs,
As you come back to reality
From the vaccuum of nowhere.

Endure the light,
Remember the darkness,
The depths from which you have come.

The earth calls you from the sea.
You are born.

This is an intense emotionally and spiritually charged piece.
For some reason as I was reading it I was thinking of J.O.C. and their song ' flood'
Probably because the lyrics go something like:
' but if I can't swin after 40 days and my mind is crushed by the crashing waves, lift me up, so high that I cannot fall lift me up'
    Anyway, thanks for the trip.
