Breathe Poem by Lady Reign

Breathe

My head is full but my mind is empty

I've touched fire, in search of warmth

Now all I've got are these blackened ashes for comfort.

Spiralling down to my core, I find solace in silence, steadying me.

I am lightheaded as I catch my breath.

A peaceful pause.

The light is my air, the sun in my hair.

And I breathe deeply.
