Breeding Grounds Of Love Poem by Kawsar Khalil

Breeding Grounds Of Love

They have a universal mission to uphold
And that goal is their sweetness of soul
Even the slightest move from them
Exudes respect from every attempt

Walking on a lonely street on a frightful night
A diffused street light with all its might
Cried in my heart the farthest cry
How can the proponents of divinity be dry?

I stayed for a while besides that pole in ruins
With nothing to think of highfalutin
It murmured and told me 'come take a pause'
I can protect a fawn even from terrible claws

Those wailing echoes I still remember
There can be no room for loathsome slumber
You either light the dance show or stay alone
Win a Sumo tussle without breaking a bone

To live and let live be mission pre-planned
That can even reinforce the fortresses of sand
To love and be loved is only then possible
When good things are minted in social mill

On the sidewalk, I started to walk back home
The pole didn't change its venue, only did I roam
At my dwelling when I finally fell on the bed
A divine call said I have still decades to tread.
