Profess Not What You Fail To Perform Poem by Kawsar Khalil

Profess Not What You Fail To Perform

AAABB
******
Checked on while travelling into all days gone
Got me, hegemons think; - I'm a timid fawn
Favour me with some love else I am withdrawn
Pointing at me do this and refrain from that
Treating me as if I am a trained lab rat

I carry in my basket so many fruits
To each and every heart that I pursuit
May I sense the pain be it so so minute
Be it a red apple or prickly foul Durio
Bounty of nature, give everything a go

Let me dote on by the puddles on the street
Old uncle wish you do not screw up my arm
How long shall perjury stand firm underneath
For good profess not what you fail to perform.
