We all meet on the sea-shore splendid, fabulous
Let us greet one another in total abandon marvelous
May the bliss of being sustain us, despite all possible perils
Meeting stirs in us waves of ecstatic ecstasy
And don't allow ourselves be perturbed by thoughts
Of parting inevitable, the evanescence of all this
Instead, play gleefully, full of zest as long as it lasts
If the play be brief, that should inspire intense spiritedness
That is how we can make the miracle happen, the miracle of miracles:
The brief candle excels as a star resplendent, in all blessedness'
