Brexit

Countering the campaign
to have 'have'
rhyme with 'save', 'slave',
'behave' and many others,
was the one to have
'save', 'slave', etcetera
rhyme with the 'have'
that rhymes with 'lav'
and a small few others.

Sense would have voted,
you would have reckoned,
for the first not the second.

Sense. Schmense.

'Slav To The Lav',
the slogan for the second,
won voters over.
It wasn't even a close shave:
voters just wouldn't come
at first's
'Slave To The Lave'.
