waking to the warm embrace of the dawning sun,
another broken night;
another chain complete of broken dreams
of the winds whispering your melody
and the skies harming along
in union with the chattering birds
trees swing in unison to the tune
time itself is singing
''...my queen, my queen Noriet!
why did you break the dream,
why did, 't you wake from sleep? ''
while a boy's left alone
without a sign to a never ending story
n mummy's never coming back home
she partook to a never ending journey.
Nairobi and Durban wails along
To the song of a queen gone,
Joined along with the wailing thunder,
And clouds rain more tears to the river,
tears of broken dreams,
broken promises to the eagerly waiting home,
and curious eyes to the every landing plane.
Of broken Christmas, with no joy n carols in distance
Broken stories, broken hearts and broken presence
Broken links; broken dreams' all we mourn
Fare thee well, Norah Go well
