Broken Poem by Martin Greyford

Broken

Rating: 3.0

I thought you cared for me
That you were my prince charming.
You gave my life meaning
And then you took it all away.
In times of pain,
You were my joy.
But now I see I was just your toy.

An innocent girl
Wanting to be loved and cared for
Sadly,
To you I became a bore,
You broke my heart,
Stomped on it,
Until it was nothing but dust.
All I have now are memories.
But you don't care,
You never did.
You left me broken,
Lost and alone,
Hurt me straight through the bone.
Once again I am in the loser zone.
Now I wish you had just left me alone.
