Broken Albatross Poem by soren Barrett

Broken Albatross

Things that should not be, became
Things that should not be known, were revealed
Now understood, that which has no name
Things that have no end, no beginning yield

Knock on wood, rock, paper, scissors, a coin toss
A bent knee, a broken albatross
Midnight's kiss of dross, an embrace
A double cross, a Janus face

Muddy waters, disgrace, a broken tooth
Burnt offerings efface a fortune teller's booth
